Banner Ads

Display banner advertising is an excellent way to brand your company name and help build awareness of the product/service you offer. Banner advertising is an integral part of a long-term marketing campaign.

Research shows that customers buy from those companies they’re familiar with. Banner advertising is a way to build familiarity with your target audience. The more they see your name, the more familiar they become and the more comfortable they will be with making a buying decision.

Banners are the ideal companion for your lead generation campaigns. Banner ads and lead generation pushes go hand-in-hand. Here’s an example: You’ve been running banner ads on SermonCentral.com for a few months. Then you send out an email to our church email lists. A pastor receives the email, opens it, recognizes your brand and is interested in your offer. But something distracts him from filling out your lead form or making a purchase. Then, a few days later, he’s on one of our sites and he sees your banner ad. That ad serves as a reminder and can prompt him to take action at that particular moment.

Before investing in more expensive advertising options like emails and magazine ads, you can test—and retest—your messaging using banner ads. If you want to test messaging, we suggest that you provide three versions of your ad. We’ll run them for a week and then give you feedback based on the results.
